After exploring the depths of lo-fi production and blues standards on his first two albums for Mirkwood, Dirty Pat Walsh has returned with an album of original, deep blues. Recorded at Sabretooth Sound - this is the first time Pat has recorded a solo album in studio, and the result is a stark new take on the sound he has developed for the last 20 years. For the first time, the ambient silence that falls around Pat in live performance has been captured accurately on recording, allowing the quiet moments to shine as well as the blazing harmonica work. Dark and poetic, these songs paint a picture of a life lived outside of the sanitized norm, filled with reflection and wit.
